It had better be a good PC port, like Prey and Quake 4, and not like FEAR 2.

What the
hell is that even supposed to
mean? Have you even
played the Quake 4 360 version? It's fucking awful, came after the PC version, was rushed to coincide with the 360 release, had subpar optimization, long loading times and was just generally a horrible port.
I liked you better when you were an RSS feed.

Oh God. Just because the Wolfenstein is built on Carmack technology and is a sequel to a PC title (RtCW), doesn't mean that it was developed foremost for PC.
You saw how FEAR 2 turned out - fundamentals the should be a given for modern PC titles for were completely disregarded - like native 5-button mouse support; native support for a wide range of aspect ratios (rather than 16:9 only - a TELEVISION standard, not applicable to computers); dedicated servers and anti-cheat solutions.
Like Monolith, Raven is now a console developer with shit like Marvel Alliance/X-Men Legends in their annals; Singularity will highly like cement that transition.
Saving anywhere, modability, developer consoles, etc aren't a given any more. Let's hope that Raven haven't thrown the PC audience that built them to the wind, like Epic and Monolith have. But it's more likely that the marriage with PC gamers is over, we've been traded with for the Xbox - the ditzy blonde 22 year old with fake boobs.

No. Prey with it's lack of difficulty/penalties for death and on-screen prompts (Large font text saying stuff like PRESS RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON TO PICK UP AMMO) and Q4 with it's HEAVY influences from Halo felt like console games. So presumptions were made on my part.
Even if they were native PC titles, the game design decisions (not technical implementation) clearly leaned more towards that of Xbox titles.

That creaking sound you hear is my eyes rolling for all they're worth.

apart from the fact that this isn't even insulting (though I'm sure it's intended to be), what purpose do you guys hope to fulfil by misspelling Xbox in a way that precisely no Xbox player would actually do?
I know, I know, serious console debates and all that, but you're acting like a four-year-old, and it's weakening the calibre of discussion of which I think this forum is capable. So how about you quit being such a wanker and we can engage in more pressing issues, like when is Thief 4 coming out???

Well I tried conducting a serious discussion, but he only seemed interested in calling names and completely dismissing my valid points.
