Hey guys. New Member / DromEd wannabe :D Just installed for first time ! Open DromEd and the window is really small and i cant adjust the size of the window ! Any help is appreciated.

First off. Check the stickies for information as there's lots to learn, including what you've just asked.
find your dromed.cfg file...
add the line
edit_screen_size xxxx xxxx
and save
where x is a resolution that is a resolution just under whatever you have your desktop set to.

Thanks Sly. I am sorry for posting an obvious rookie question but Im finding a lot of links that lead to external sites. For instance the Getting Started with DromEd tutorial which was hosted on a site whos link is to et another site that no longer exists :/ I guess this is another thread though :/ Sorry again and Thanks.

DromEd 1.37 is Old Dark.
You would be better off with the NewDark version of DromEd.

The search function is a useful (but sometimes frustratingly slow and ineffective) tool, but I wouldn't worry too much about asking "newbie questions". I think most people will be happy to help you with whatever problems you may have.

it's not that difficult, although the instructions are missing one thing - if you want to use the newdark version, you actually need the files from editor.zip found in the newdark package. so it's basically
-install the game
-patch it up with the the latest TFix
-extract editor.zip from the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141148) NewDark package to your thief folder
-extract dromed basic into your thief folder
-copy the contents of .\tools\Thief1 Gold Dromed\ to your root Thief Directory
do note that reprocessing old missions with NewDark Dromed is not trivial, and there are quite a few things that you need to be vary of - for example, saturation on lights or slightly different pathfinding.

:/ I think for now I would rather stick with DromEd Original.. I don't know whats happened but i'm already missing textures in game :/ Bottles plates etc are all white now :/.. Maybe its too late in the day for me :( Simple things you all take for granted seem to be beyond me atm. Like the link to the NewDark package ! Well i installed Tfix so i have NewDark already ? right ? Or do i need to download something else ?
