I guess its possible but it never happened to me with an original installation of Thief II. I'll look at Tafferpather. Thanks voodoo47!

That is an old bug, like the gas arrow that never dies you just keep picking it up and reusing it.
Had that happen a few times prior to using TafferPatcher.

I'm not talking about the Deathstage 12 bug that creeps onto objects at random. :) As soon as I fire an arrow it goes nowhere. At the same time I am unable to drop objects like skulls and plates. With a reload (sometimes it takes more than one reload) everything works fine again.
