I see a lot of HQ skins in your future ...
(BTB, this is what I think ZB actually looks like :joke:)

The included FM loader can also be used to organize ones FMs in progress when working om them in DromEd. I just copied my missions in progress to new folders (in case I would want to later return to 1.18) and told the new FM loader where they are (no zips needed). The new FM selector also aids in creating readme files for ones FMs:

Although an "fm.ini" could be created manually in a text editor, the preferable method is to create/export it from the FM Selector. That ensures that formatting and content is correct.

The "fmthumb.jpg" file is an (optional) image that's used to make the FM information presentation look more appealing. It can be a JPG version of the main/logo image in Thief's main menu, or it can be something fancier.
In the FM Selector it's displayed at the top of the "View Summary" window. Potential future web based FM databases
may do something similar. The width of the image should be at most 500 pixels, and the height should be kept under
200 pixels. The logo image on Thief's main menu is 300 x 168, which is a good guideline to go by.
The "fm.ini" and "fmthumb.jpg" files have to be located in the root directory of the FM.
And it seems that someone doesn't like MP3s:

DO NOT USE MP3!
It's strongly suggested that you avoid using MP3 files in FMs. There are patent/licensing issues tied to that
format, which may put your FM in troublesome position but even more so FM selectors/loaders. Instead of MP3,
use the OGG format ((
http://www.xiph.org/ogg/)). There's nothing gained by using MP3 over OGG.
I guess MP3s aren't even supported, then!? Seems reasonable.

Oh, hey - the texture palette allows on-the-fly reloading of textures! Right-click on any texture in the texture palette to get a menu, from which you can either reload just that texture, or the whole family. No need to restart dromed every time you edit a terrain texture :D

I'm in agreement with ZB: If any more versions come out, there will be confusion. Has anyone thought about a title like 1.19+, assuming later versions keep the basic interface in place?

I'm partial to "NewDark" myself. It's perfectly descriptive, and a hell of a lot easier to type than "Thief II 1.19 or greater and/or DromEd 1.19 or greater and/or System Shock 2 2.4 or greater and/or ShockEd 2.4 or greater". Also it's catchy and wears a fez.

I also like NewDark.

Shouldn't there be a number substituted for a letter in there somewhere? Or maybe a cool homophonic letter subsitution?
N3wdark
Newdarq
or maybe because it's Dark plus a whole lot more it should be Dark+?
LOL
