AM16, are you still going to post a base mission?

With this in mind,
I've decided not to require authors to use a mission base. Instead, post in this thread when you start your editing, then go to File->New in dromed for your base. =P
Post again in this thread after your 48 hours has completed, and PM me a link to the zip file containing your mission. I typically use (
http://www.mediafire.com/) MediaFire for hosting. They'll host files up to 200MB for free.
No.

I read that as "you don't have to use the mission base that's provided, but you can if you want to."

I decided not to provide a mission base or do the micromanagement necessary to distribute it. Go to File->New for a mission base. =P
I originally made a mission base that included a startingpoint, a pool of water, a patrolling guard, starting inventory, and some textures loaded among other things. It took an astounding 5 minutes to setup, and the author would have to familiarize themselves with the stuff I put there, and they'd have to remove or edit what they didn't like. I felt it would be better not to include the extras so I stripped them out until there was just a startingpoint. At which point, I realized there was no point in distributing a mission base with only a startingpoint.

25 hours in. I've worked on my mission from 10am to now 1am. I'll need to cut some stuff I had originally planned, but fortunately all the important things can still make it into the final mission. Time to get some sleep now.

In my concern I'll probably start tomorrow morning, Saturday 3rd

I'm two and a half hours into my mission, I've just been working on and off since I don't like working in dromed for hours at a time. I got a small mansion base started and texturized:cheeky:

Hey Sneaky, do you realize that your 48 hours need to be consecutive? As in, you need to finish your mission during one 48 hour period, not after you've logged 48 random hours in dromed. Because you made mention in this thread that you were working on your mission over 2 days ago.
