I'm having some trouble with the Lady Wenford riddle. I have looked at what seems to be the obvious but still nothing. Please give me a nudge in the right direction. Thanks! Playing on expert although I feel like a novice!

In the water horse, there is one rope arrow. It's there for those who either reached the place without picking up the rope arrows from Garrett's home, or those who used them all up before coming there, and since you need a rope to escape (and one to get into the wooden horse), I placed one rope arrow in the water horse

Finding the shoes is just a matter of finding Lady Brambleton's residence. You should find Benny warming himself in front of a fireplace. That's her home. The door to Benny's right is opened by a key, which she has on her belt (she's at the outdoor garden party next to Lady Wenford's mansion). If you don't feel like trapsing all over town, your sword will open that door, also.

To steal from yourself, begin at the hotel where you're staying. Start stealing there. In a very short time, that objective will tick off.

He made an Italian translation of my FM!

whos paintings are those in the ladys room? they are so majestic

and at first i thought the mission was a bit dumb and quick as i dont like roughly done buildings and thought it would be just steal quick and run back home but then it got hilarious with the diaries, of king ladies and wizard adventure

The paintings in the room where you steal the dresses are, starting from the painting above the flowerpot and going clockwise to the right:
