Sean from Dublin is gone, I believe. And yeah, that video he posted was pure troll snot. Problem with trolls is, you never know if they really believe what they spatter the boards with.
Anyways, I'll reiterate my joy that 2008 looks to be great for Thief fans.

The textures make it look like the original Thievery, and when I actually got to the book of Enlightenment(The objective) I couldn't pick it up...
So, I think I'm gonna wait 'till the next version. I have high hopes! But this version is too buggy for me.

If the UT3 engine wasn't a horribly unstable piece of shit I'd care.
Yeah, shame it ended up on that hunk of shit game/engine.
Consequently,I'll never get a chance to play it.

On the one hand I have been disappointed that they moved it over to UT3, as UT2004 still has life in it (think Killing Floor for example) but on the other hand the new engine could have a lot going for it in terms of features. I still don't own UT3, but I may buy it if Nightblade turns out to be awesome.
I just happened to find this thread because I was looking for nightblade stuff. Well, they don't hardly ever update their site (nightblade team that is) but I found this cool beta test video on (

very cool! It's great to see the regular guys out there making games. Goes to show you don't need to be making money to make a good game :]
great work guys, can't wait to see more!
