OK. This game is annoyingly good! I'm freaked out now here, because I'm (again) in a web of guestions and "forwards and backwards going" in this (remembering Garrett) level.
I started all over again, this time grabbing the
Dewdrop doll
, don't know the use for her ....... besides being beautiful and my best friend ......and now can't open all
the chests in Patience, as I did on my first round.
Beats me what I
am doing wrong here.
I just have one objective ticked off and still miss the
Treasure. I found the secret in the kitchen, got all the food and now have a major problem loosing this ugly guard behind me.
There still are
a few statues which I can't open yet.
Please Help!

That's a lot of questions...I'll tackle the first one.
The Dewdrop Doll acts as a key and activates one of the statues in the central area.
As far as the second one (Patience), if it's the one I'm thinking of, you can't open all of them at once..I thought you had to retrieve a key from one of the other rooms first and then head back down there.

I just gotta let everyone know that I love this mission. I finished finally. The hardest for me was remembering. Too many unrelated buttons and keys that don't look like keys. I think I have spent a week on this one (hour or two a night if I am lucky). This goes on my list of most loved missions.

In Patience
all the keys you need are down there I think (though I'm not sure. I could have had a key from somewhere else and not realized it) but you have to open the chest in a certain order. You've probably just missed a hallway or nook. Keep looking.
For the Treasure
did you find the button in the kitchen fireplace? It's in behind the fire on the back wall. That makes the book (which is the treasure) appear in the sitting room.
The hardest part of this fan mission for me was trying to get by the apebeasts. It was only later that I found the noisemaker arrows. But this is solely because the other harder parts (the combination comes to mind) I retrieved from this thread. Another was the button to open the sewer door. I just couldn't find it on my own.
If these messages didn't exist, I would never been able to finish Nightmares.

Hi, I'm in need again.
I started the level once again and now things went easier. But I still can't find the last key to the statue in the middle.
Please give me a direaction where to go. I already went back to all "doorparts" and its getting harder to leave the cave
with the zombies
ervery time I enter that area.

I don't remember which statue is in the middle but here's a list of the "keys" that unlock statues and where you find them. Maybe you can identify which one you're missing.
Discretion room: The doll worn by the guard at the front.
Patience: Rouage de Temps gear found in a chest
Courage: Ta Morte skull - found in grave in the zombie room
Skill: A pair of manacles lying on the highest platform
Intelligence: enter the code and a panel in the floor opens. The Grand Livre du Savoir (book) is in the hole underneath. It unlocks a statue as well.
Stuck again in fragments. How do you get out of the graveyard with all the Garret tombstones?
Nightwalker on 24/4/2004 at 03:17
Frob the sword and the statue will start to sink into the ground. Ride it down, like an elevator.
