I am on the 2nd mission, Quest, and I'm at the end. I got all objectives except to escape. I found the tree-man's house/area and I flipped the lever inside there. But where to go now?

[SPOILER] Go back down the hallway into the room at the far end. The center statue (pedestal??) moved aside when you flipped the switch and there's a hole underneath. Climb down. [/SPOILER] :)

Where on earth did you look? Go to thiefmissions.com, click "Search", type in "nightmare" and you will get a listing of three missions. The one under discussion is here: (http://thiefmissions.com/info.cgi?m=Cauchemars)

I couldn't find an answer in this thread and I didn't want to read any more spoilers so here goes. I'm stuck at the archives/bonehoard area. I found the papyrus that says I need to hit the switch near the entrance to the archives but I can't seem to find it. If I go in the small room with the haunt patrolling, I come to an unfrobbable door with a big lever near it that doesn't seem to do anything. Am I mising some obscure switch then?
