Gloria, you really should think about using the "search thread" function. It's right there on the top of each page, on the right hand side. It will save you a lot of time.

Yannar I DO use that search thread everytime. That's why I came to this thread. I had read about 10 pages and couldn't find the answer and I got tired of reading all of those pages so I put in a post reply with my question.

I think you misunderstood, Gloria, or I wasn't very clear. I wasn't talking about searching FOR a thread, I was talking about searching INSIDE the thread. Once you find the mission thread, you can search inside that thread for the answer you need. If you look at the top of this page you will see this:

You can use that "Search Thread" function to search this thread for the answer you want. For example, I searched this thread for the word "forbidden" and that's how I found the post I gave you. Does that make sense?

Ok I'm currently in The Quest (2nd mission) and I need help getting into the third room with the Mechanist patrolling. I've made it into the other two rooms and the room the treebeast came out of, but I can't seem to find a key for the Mechanist room.

I saw mention of missing textures in early builds of this FM so it was temporarily withdrawn. I find that too jarring to see, missing textures in FM, so I can understand why it was removed. Was this issue ever fixed? Why did Gaëtane have his/her entry removed? I like his FMs a lot and wanted to know if I could find a standalone version of A Sinner's Song or if the version included in Nightmares is fixed and sufficient? Or did Gaëtane just not consider it up to the standards of their other FMs?

The description on the mission's page (https://thiefmissions.com/info.cgi?m=Cauchemars) here on thiefmissions.com suggests that already two days later, the mission pack was re-released in a fixed form. You can still download it from there.

It has been a long time since I played this mission pack, but I do not remember any problems with textures. I think there still was some problem with the english translation that gave people trouble in one of the puzzles; I believe there should be a post somewhere in this thread explaining this. Also, gnartsch made some kind of correction/patch for texts in this FM pack in 2011 (not included in the download linked above), but I do not know whether this improves the situation for that particular puzzle.
