Hello,

I just started playing these, and am (so far) loving them! Finished the first without any problems, but now I'm stuck on the second (The Quest). I've swum through some underwater caves to come up in a small cave with spiders. I killed the spiders, and got the mask. Now, there's a hole leading up, but it's too steep for me to climb/mantle, and nowhere to shoot a rope arrow even if I had one (which I don't). Do I need to go swimming again? Is there a switch somewhere I'm missing? I hope the answer isn't "Just keep trying to climb that hole", because I've been trying for a looooong time.

Any hints are much appreciated. :)

I need help getting started on this one. I've made it to book #2 and need to
activate 3 switches. If I jump down to get the potions I can't get back up??
The 3 switches up on the book level didn't do anything and when I flip the
haunt gate switch I have to jump in the pit. Spoiler please. :o

bassmanret [SPOILER] Swim back out the tunnel to the spiders and look for another one right near the spot where you come out. It takes you into an apebeast section. [/SPOILER]

coreyb2 - [SPOILER] Once you've got the potions, I'm afraid you have to let the haunts loose! :cheeky: Once they're out, run into the cage at the far end of the room and down to the right. You can drop down into a lower area and you'll find a ladder back up to the top. [/SPOILER]

I've made it to the Forbidden Zone but have a few questions:
1) The Hand, I saw the hand but couldn't find a way to get through the gates.
Was there a way to get the Hand way back by the Mechs?
2) The area with the zombies and spiders, with room in middle full of spiders,
was there something in that middle room? I got the key and ran thru that door.
3) I'm finding gold but no more ammo, is there some in this Forbidden area?
This is a tough FM, it's baddd but great!!!! I'm just trying to find out if I've really
messed this up and need to go back and start over.

It sounds like you're doing fine so keep going! :) As for ammo, I'm afraid I don't recall. I was running for my life most of the time!:eek: :cheeky:
