I've completed everything in mission 2 except for the loot requirement. I've already been in all three gated areas in the tombs, plus the room that opens up when the treebeast appears, and I pulled the lever there. But I only have 1745 loot out of 2270 (2000 required). I've already gotten all three secrets.

So the loot must be somewhere else... is there any along the escape route, wherever that is? Or have I just missed a bunch of stuff lying around in plain view?

Dafydd: [SPOILER]I can't give you a comprehensive list, but did you find the banner that slides down? There's an unlit torch that triggers it. Also, there's a sarcophagus in the gated area with the 'dead' zombie which slides aside to reveal a skeleton and some loot. You probably already found that one, since iirc one of the required keys was in there, but I missed the ring on its hand at first. The only other thing I can suggest is to scour the place. I overlooked quite a bit of loot my first time through. I think there's an oroborus on one sarcophagus that's hard to spot, and a few other knick-knacks that elude the eye and my memory. The escape route is riggered in the room whence the treebeast came, the pedestal the mask was floating over moves aside. There's no loot there, however.[/SPOILER] Wish I could be more helpful!:o

Dafydd, there's [SPOILER] one of those tiny gold rings on the floor behind the banner that Oneiroscope mentioned. There's a coin on top of one of the coffins in the south crypt. Did you get the dice from the top shelf in the treebeast room? [/SPOILER] I just finished up a loot list for this mission so if it's none of these, let me know and I'll send you a copy. :)

I definitely got:

[spoiler]The stuff behind the banner that slides down, including a tiny ring, the loot with the skeleton in the floor (including the ring), the coin from atop a crypt, and the gold dice in the Treebeast room.[/spoiler]

I don't know for sure whether I got the ouroboros; there was a jeweled sword on one of the sarcophagi outside -- I mean in the tomb that is broken, where we enter -- but I couldn't frob it, even when I stood atop the sarcophagus and crouched.

I also got the various nuggets from the apebeasts, as well as the stuff from the skeletal monkey-god there. And I picked up a couple of nuggets from the deep water in front of them and also a nugget from the spider at the very beginning.

I thought I was being very thorough, but I'm way short... what goes?

Yes, please send me a loot list; since I'm not ghosting, there's no reason not to use it!

Edit: Actually, no need to bother: I found the ouroboros; it's atop a tomb in the mask/exit room. This gave me just enough loot to finish, 2095.

The ending is weird: the book tells me to go back and get the missing mask, though I had both of them. But when I approached the bed, the mission ended as normal.

Oh well....

I suspect that book should have disappeared for the ending, as it is confusing. I think it's there in case you get there before you've completed all the objectives, which you can do. I did it! :cheeky:

can somebody please tell me very specifically
