A Nintendo Labia would be one heck of a peripheral, that’s for sure.

At first glance that cardboard thing looks like a genius move (from a corporate point of view): I can see the appeal for both kids and their parents alike, and it's probably pretty cheap to both manufacture and distribute. What about reusability, though? You get to build something, which is fun and educational at the same time, but once you've put it together, it might be like any other toy gathering shelf dust while you wait for Nintendo to sell you the next, and probably slightly overpriced, set. On the other hand, it might inspire kids to build their own gadgets (even if the pieces aren't reusable), which would be the best scenario (building stuff on your own can even be turned into a career under the right conditions).
Edit:
On another note: I'm amazed at how people can turn anything, in any setting, into a dirty word these days -- it's almost as if today's society is obsessed with it.

I dunno, if you're going to make a console named a Switch following on from a console called a Wii, and you add on something to it called a Labo, I'd be pretty miffed if you don't at some point create a wand accessory called a Wiiner. There's nothing worse than unfulfilled potential. We're supposed to be inclusive, so include!

Today's society? If the graffiti in Pompeii is anything to go by, we've been doing this same shit for at least 2000 years now.

Hehe, you said shit.

In other words it's a pretty tired joke then. Not that I would compare the two, but that's another story.

As long as we have entire generations of people perpetually discovering sex, you'll always have people who think it's funny.
Honestly, I think sex jokes are the cornerstone of all civilization. That, and beer.

Can I just say again how great Arms is. I’ve been playing it all week on harder difficulties, tried a few of the online matches, and I’m really finding that I want to play it more and more purely to get better at it because the core mechanics are so satisfying (Uh, like Dark Souls? yes) I admit it could probably use a more fulsome package, but I take back what I said before; the game as is is totally worth buying for anyone who likes fun games.
