I don't really see a problem there, I couldn't even really care less about the gameplay anyway as long as they can make the adventure elements work. But the gameplay sounds promising, have you played Call of Chultltyuttfkjhbfdhjvd,jbv? It has this scene right at the beginning where you are chased by a few guys, you are unarmed and have to lock doors pull furniture (got that right? not sure about that one) to slow them down, it's the best scene in the game imho, harrowing as can be. If they can make that happen in a sandbox Silent Hill without any loading times where you have one button to run, climb over a fence, open a door, etc, then I am so in. Most important: no combat means STEALTH. Sneaking around in a icy nightmare with all sorts of creatures that can follow me wherever I go if I don't find a way to lose them, that simply would suck if there wouldn't be a way to get around them.

If you want to play a shitty game that's your perogative. The series has been dead to me since SH4 so this is all moot anyway.
