Unkillable ghost enemies? Strike one. Irritating escort quest? Strike two. Doing each area in the the entire fucking game over again? Strike three. Doing it with a Kurt Cobain lookalike chasing after you with a machine gun? Strike fucking four, into the trashcan you go.
You missed out the limited inventory with non-stackable health items. Also, the golf clubs.

I threw my copy into the trash. Literally.

Christ almighty, does every single fucking GenGaming topic have to devolve into childish 'you don't like my game so you're a fuckhead' insults?
"I don't like your game so you're a fuckhead" is even worse than that.
SH2 was the best.

If you like shooters there is always a good one somewhere, survival-horrors are much rarer, I'll take what I can get. A not so good point and click adventure I'll take as well.

Red Steel is a perfect example of how not to do an FPS. Cursed Mountain continues Russia's preoccupation with boring psychic bullshit. SH Shattered Memories is just going to flat-out suck. Period.
Fuck the Wii.
I didn't make a list of good games, I made one of so-called hardcore games. The Wii has tons of 'em, if one likes them or not. I'm talking about the general perception everyone's copypasting which bores me.
You can go all hardcore in Wiisports and do some casual cruising and killing in GTA and Gears of War. So wtf.

Nintendo has the global publishing rights to Fatal Frame 4/Project Zero 4 and they're just sitting on it, refusing to release it in North America nor Europe. Fuck those bastards to hell.
gunsmoke on 11/5/2009 at 14:38
Really?
And why are you even referring to Gears and GTA? They aren't even on the Wii.
Matthew on 11/5/2009 at 14:42
I must confess that I don't really care about whether I get any hardcore games on my Wii. It's just nice to get out from behind the keyboard and use the Wiimote every so often.
Bear in mind this is coming from someone who, while not the 'completes everything on hard / aced Ikaruga' sort of hardcore player, still considers himself a pretty serious gamer.

The Wii is what it is. Shoe-horning violent, mature rated games is pointless. The fanbase for those games all have PCs and Xboxes. People get a Wii for the party games, and the fun, simpler games that everyone in the room can enjoy.
