Yeah, aiming with the wiimote is fantastically immersive, and much more accurate with practice.

I found it to be a good match for the old kb/m...if you set it up right.
On another note, Nintendo is releasing all Metroid Prime games, rejigged for Wiimote goodness, on one disc this August. $50 for three damn good games is a great deal, specially if you haven't played any of them yet. Even though I own the GC originals, I'm thinking of trading them in and picking this up just so I can play Prime 1 & 2 with the Wiimote.
About time Nintendo released something on the Wii I'm interested in. Even if it is a bunch of games I've already played.

For all classic adventure fans: if you haven't played the original Broken Sword, and own a Wii, then the new version (Broken Sword: Shadows of the Templars) is simply a must-have!

There's a huge difference between direct ports and franchise sequels every few years on better hardware.

Fair enough, but would it kill them to at least try to create some new franchises with the amount of enthusiasm money as the Mario, Metroid, and Zelda games?

Nintendo made Pikmin for the GC about 8 years ago. They've got a remake of it out now, too.

I didn't like Pikmin very much. I couldn't ever get into micro-management in games, and I hated babysitting the little guys. The game was charming and cute, but the gameplay (and that shitty 30 day time limit) just failed to grab me.

I was with it until the whole thing turned blue.
No.
Just no.
GTFO.
