Looks like he's a console player ("or else expect to see everyone trade there mw2 for MAG or another competetive shooter"), in which case this is nothing new. Used to happen all the time in CoD4. All the friends I have who bought it for PC have said that the latency is fine in Australian games, and have yet to come across any Americans in an Australian game.

I'd say that force-feeding DLC to the PC audience is the bigger factor here, over cost of developing dedicated servers.

I would have gladly paid $60 for this if the SP campaign was as good as the previous game (or CoD 2) but it's sounding pretty damn weak.
Has anyone tried co-op yet? That seems to be the thing that might sway my purchasing decision.
