Blaaah!!!
I'm sorry, I just need to bitch a bit:
I posted over at the EM's Thief 4 forum and everything was fine, but when coming back a few minutes later I noticed, by mere coincidence, that my post had been severely cropped :( Someone had quoted my post, though, before it disappeared. I didn't do anything to it after that, so something is wrong.
I tried to edit my post, which took forever and when it was finally done saving my changes, nothing had changed
EM's forums must be overwhelmed by the recent activity!?
I think EM's forums will be flooded/crash before TTLG does...

Tony, you're just a bit late to the dance... ;)

I'm still waiting for my confirmation e-mail from the Eidos forums.
It's a nightmare over there imo. I'm afraid they're going to start eating each other soon.
Bummer.

Am I allowed to be excited about The Dark Mod again?
jtr7 on 12/5/2009 at 00:08
Yes you may! It looks as though the frenzy has slowed and cooled down.
An opportunity to say it's never an either/or for community and commercial Thiefy projects. Both should be lauded as long as they are worthy endeavors. No Thiefy goodness left out in the cold!

Maybe this thread can finally die? (half kidding) Lol, it's almost 100 pages!
Now we don't have to speculate anymore about what game is the second project, and argue about the title and shit....
By the way, I recommend this thread get a new name after all that has happened. Maybe something like Massive Thread About Thief 4 Ideas and Thoughts (k, i'm not the best title guy so suggest your own then peeps.)

I like the name of this thread. I don't bother to read the title anymore since my brain has become so used to just scanning the shape of the letters to recognise it.
Also, this is the thread which coaxed me to register here instead of just lurking for years. I'll miss this lumbering beast when it's lying beneath the sedimentary layers of a thousand others.

I thought it was very thoughtful of Flux, and it instantly put me at ease. And when I saw the teaser news, I hoped it was true, while scared at the immediate 100% surety of some members.
