No, not another "will there be thief4" thread, but... - by Flux

Other than links to video interviews and online magazines I wouldn't expect much for awhile. If you come back later and ask, we could give you a summary.:)

I thought it was very thoughtful of Flux, and it instantly put me at ease. And when I saw the teaser news, I hoped it was true, while scared at the immediate 100% surety of some members.
Yeah, thanks. I was thinking of changing the thread title to "Yes, there will be thief4, but...." You know, I want to keep the "but" since we'll always remain skeptical to a degree, since we don't know much yet if we can trust the developers about this whole issue of "remaining true to spirit of older titles"...

See you in two years then :cheeky: Remember the old Thief 3 website? It's doubtful we'll hear anything of importance about Thief 4 for a long, long while.

Just out of curiosity, I still can't get on the Eidos forum,
anyone else having same problem? I'm in UK.

No problems here. I had had some issues connecting to thief4.com though, but resetting my cache fixed them.

Haven't had any problems at all. I wonder what's happening with some of you.

Unless you would like to avoid potential confrontation, I suppose, something has brought you here, and I would assume it's because
Thief means something to you. Could you share what it was that has kept you interested? YOu don't have to, of course.
Of course it means something to me! Instead of re-typing my wall of text from earlier I'll just post the link to the "What makes thief great" thread. The last page, if you scroll up a bit, the über essay should be there. :laff:

It's not much help but I had trouble registering there last year (see (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1766918#post1766918) ) but it was finally activated after a day or so (see further down that page.) I can't remember whether you said you had registered but not activated or whether you got an error when registering? Give it another day then maybe try again with a new user name and email address if you have one.

I'm also in the UK and I haven't been able to, Flashart, not since Thief 4 was announced, although it was fine in the morning. I've been a member for about a year now. Mind you TTLG wasn't having anything to do with me earlier today either. :)

TTLG had another DNS black-out (or white-out, with white screens, heh), so it was rocky there.
