no there is no point........all non lethal does is make ur job a lot harder...id try taking the whole "(says with lisp) Oh come on guyz do we needz to kill?" personality. In the Mole Town you know that drug dealer you need to kill for the LAMS? WEll if you knock him out with a tranq and not kill him, your screwd cuz now u dont get the lambs. Fanatix, do you say that becuase you are a Thief freak and like it so much that you would kill the next person that defies it? Or do you say that because there are tons of other Thief freaks here that will bite my head off? Personally, I don't like the game. I TRIED to like it, based on everyone's reviews and such, but I can't stand it.

that was a VERY unneccesary comment. he was just stating that all the thief fans out there are gonna give you some flak, not hounding you or insulting you. these boards are so much nicer with no profanity and insults, so, c'mon, everyone, think to yourself "do i really NEED to dis this guy?"

Untrue. El Ray is a bit pissed if you don't kill Rock, but you still get the LAM.

Hey theres nothing wrong with being a Thief freak. I'm not referring to freak as one of those bearded ladies from the Circus. Its not necessarily a bad thing. No comment on the wanting to kill part :P

We can stay non-lethal for quite some time in the game... even in Realistic.
For the Prod to work ... you need more skill points in that area. I made JC able to knock out with two shocks.
The same goes for the baton ... it's all in the skill points.

I have played both ways and I have allowed Paul and Jock to die once ... in the end it's no big deal. Different game styles simply help you appreciate Deus Ex much better.

Skill points are not the issue -- it's in how you use the item. Both the baton and and prod can take down an enemy with one shot if you do it correctly. In general, just aim right above the butt, and that's all it takes.
