Nah, that's not it. It was more like a regular keyboard in terms of dimensions, much longer than it was wide. I also think I remember some sort of owl picture displayed on start-up, if it helps. Thanks anyway!

My dad still has an (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intellivision) Intellivision, and it's pretty advanced. It even has a plug in voice-synthesis module. My favourite is the brochures that set the record straight: "Intellivision players have arms and legs like real players. Fact is, Intellivision is closer to the
real thing".

May well be, I honestly couldn't tell for sure after all this time, but that owl does look quite familiar. :D

Yeah, Intellivision was great. Super Pro Football was the best football game for years.
Also, B-52 Bomber. "Bandits, 6 o'clock!" I remember cruising off the map and finding hidden shit on the ground. A landlocked drydock and various factories. I've still got it stashed away. Don't know if it will ever work again, but I couldn't bring myself to let it go at a local electronics recycle center a while back.
My brother had this computer: (

You guys with all your pristine collections of games make me want to puke. I don't even know where half the shit I've had in my life has gone but I'm roughly 99% certain it's fucking GONE to the four winds. In my lifetime I've had an Atari 2600, Amstrad somethingorother tape-deck, NES, Gameboy (broken), Atari ST, Amiga (broken), SNES, Sega Saturn then it was a long drought of no games and finally, a PC and PS1. They're long gone too.

I'm in the same boat. I dunno where half of my old pre-PS1 games are anymore.

Yeah, me too!
Before my first PC in 1998 I'd only played on a friend's Apple II in the early nineties, which was the most awesome and state of the art invention I'd ever seen! I also played on a NES once, around 1996 - now that REALLY was state of the art. :D
