So they're having a level set in an elementary school, eh?
I always thought a school/university level would be interesting in a shooter, but I assumed that was out of bounds because of certain dumbshits with anger management problems.
Silent Hill 1.

Monolith are masters in creating disturbing and eerie environments. I'd entrust them to make a proper System Shock sequel more than 2K.

Yeah, I find going to work terrifying as well.
FEAR never managed to pace the scares right, for me. It never really threw you much of a curveball with them either, it was about as eerie as a sledgehammer to the face.
I thought the combat in FEAR was great though, if everything else pretty average, and I'll probably pick up the sequel. Monolith's high notes remain the original Blood and the NOLFs, for me.

This.
Hell, just play AvP2's marine scenario. It's pretty obvious they were thinking of System Shock 2 at least a little bit.

Wasn't there a school in No More Heroes too?
Mind you, there's a game that was a let-down. It would have been fine if it weren't for that shitty GTA-a-like stuff.
Such a shame after the brilliantly quirky Killer 7.
Now there's a game that needs a Wii-make.
