Doesn't seem so and I guess they never will as long as people actually buy it. Why do you think they keep making bad remakes of cult movies and rebooting already successful franchises?
But back to the topic, I wonder if this trailer is pre-rendered or something, because I'm not sure if the Wii could really handle this.

Three very different things. Bad remakes of cult movies: cash cows. Rebooting successful franchises: can be cash cows, can be interesting new takes on old stories (
Batman Begins,
Battlestar Galactica). Remaking games that ran on 15+ year old machines? Well... Most current gamers don't have a NES at home or a Sega Master System or a C-64.

You're kidding, right?

No, I'm not. Whether you like the series or hate it (and I like it a lot), I think you'd have to admit that it's not a lazy cash-in on a '70s cult series.

Are there really that many remakes on the wii? Especially remakes by nintendo? I mean, I can see the DS has it's fair share - but that's all square enix's doing.
If there are remakes, what are they? Probably better then the shovelware bullshit that passes for new games on the system.

No, reboots are all cash cows, end of the line. They reuse already successful franchises because they know it will be easier to make money that way rather than trying to come up with something original.
Batman Begins is no exception. Plus it's way too overhyped for its own good.
As for old games, well, that's the point of emulation. That includes WiiWare, btw.

Well, maybe not remakes in the true sense of the term. For example, most of the Mario games are disguised remakes of the very first Mario.
However, that's not really Nintendo's fault: it happens often with sequels.

Um....everyone who owns a Wii (the console this is being made for remember) has what's called a virtual console. It is essentially the entire 8-bit generation (as well a turbo graphx-16 games) emulated and bought straight through the dashboard. The cataLog of games is enormous and growing constantly. So yes, those systems are in lots of homes.
