Greetings,
I wonder if anyone can give me answers to the following questions?
Are there any fan missions yet for Thief 3?
What do I need to play them, ie Darkloader?
I finished T3 last night and want something to do next.
Would anyone agree with me that the endgame mission was rather tame, considering what the Hag had to lose she dosn't put up much of a fight and the final scenes leave a lot of unanswered questions. What is Garret now, is he the last Keeper and what happened to the other Keepers? Have we now entered the Dark Age and what is Garrets role now?

I also thought the ending mission was awfully tame. I was also confused as to why the 2nd to the last mission (robbing the museum) had so much loot to steal if the game is just about to end anyway. Rather, put a mission like that in the middle of the game or something, so I can actually use all the money I get. But that's off-topic;)
I don't believe there are any fan missions for Thief 3 (I don't think it can really be done....at least I've never heard of it being done before), but don't take my word for it; I could be wrong.

I think there are a few T3 FMs. I haven't played them but I heard about it.

There are about a dozen T3 FMs so far but you will need GarrettLoader to play them (see my signature), All can be downloaded from Thiefmissions.com. GarrrettLoader will also play your T2 and T1 FMs.
Currently the FMs for T3 are huge (biggest is 100+mb), however work is being done to reduce the size massively with the release of version 1.41 of GarrettLoader.

There certainly are some T3 fan missions, and some very fine ones at that.
Be sure to check out The Bridge, The Crypt, All the World's a Stage, and Krellek's Labyrinth. More are in the works. As potter says, you'll need GarrettLoader but it is easy to set up and run - and you can then check out all the marvelous T1 and T2 missions too! Check out the Fan Missions section of the forum for heaps of information.

I honestly thought that the ending to T3 was much better than the ending to T2. T2's ending was a bit of a dissapointment, and too short. :(
I imagine that following the end of T3, Garrett has two likely choices he may venture into: (1)- continue thieving, adopting that little girl as one of his offspring and calling her Garrettina (plus teaching her the tricks of the trade), or (2)- knowing that his fate has come full circle, he mayrejoin the Keepers and aid the survivors during the Unwritten Times. :)

At the end of thief 2 garret asks for more knowledge to artemus, when he understands that it all was written.
garret always hated fanatcs, he understands how fanatic the keeper have become and how they no longer are balanced.
"it is no easy thing to see a keeper, especially one who does not wish to be seen"
garret is Now a keeper, as he had to be, in mi interpretation of course.
Will he stop thieving? I don't think so, I think a Keeper has his own life and that of a keeper, as long as you don't break the seecrets you can live your lifestyle, and garret has got this interpretation of being a keeper, the only duty of a Keeper is mantain balance through knowledge
that's it, I wasn't displeased by this return to the training mission's intro of thief 1 on contrary, and the smile on garret's face, it astisfied me as a videoclip and as a story, but about the levels and that final...well...that's not that all satisfying...as it concernes me....
I hope to see soon something new about the thief world ;)
