Playing (
http://www.robitstudios.com/treasure-adventure-game/) Treasure Adventure Game right now, even though I have a few games from Steam sale I haven't really played. It's a free platformer a bit like Zelda II sans overworld...except, you know, fun. That's all I can compare it to. Maybe a cutesy retro Metroid. I'm liking it so far though it can be a bit confusing at times.

So the shift into playing cases from Kelso's point of view was rather abrupt! But yeah, still playing.

I found a copy of
Vampire: Bloodlines in a bargain bin a couple of weeks ago, and have been playing it to death ever since. You can really tell that some of the former
Fallout crew were involved in making it. And the game's voice acting is amazing. As an added bonus I was able to identify a couple of the VAs from the (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Blum) sound of their (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Elizabeth_McGlynn) voices.
I played through the first time as a Tremere (mage-like vampire), and quickly discovered that Good Melee+Blood Purge=Easy Boss Fight.
Second time through, I used the "answer some questions about yourself to determine your clan" feature, and it made me... a Malkavian. Turns out that being an insane vampire is completely hilarious, in much the same way that
Fallout 2 is if you play with a low intelligence character.
On my current run I'm a Nosferatu. Some amusing dialog changes, lots of lurking. Big fun. Not too fond of the bondage gear though.
My favorite moment in the game -
My Malkavian having an argument with a stop sign.

I picked up a GN Twin, which is a combination Genesis and NES today. The system is very nice and small, reminiscent of the Genesis. The only problem is the sound kinda sucks. I tried running Sonic 1 and 2 and the sound clips/distorts over a composite cable. This is both on my CRT from 2000 and my new HDTV. I hope it doesn't butcher the Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack too much... Also, hopefully my favorite NES games will sound alright. Haven't tried any yet.

The NES sound isn't too bad. It seems to be missing one channel (or it has a limit on simultaneous channels). Noticeable at 2:05.

I gifted E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy to a couple TTLG'ers and neither one said thank you. Fucks me off to no end, frankly.
I bought a Razer Onza Tournament Edition 360 gamepad earlier in the week. My early impressions paint it as a good gamepad, easily on par with the official MS pad. It works flawlessly under Win 7.
I've only used it to play Beat Hazard and Bastion thus far. On their default resistance the thumbsticks are solid as, performing admirably as I thrashed them for a few hours straight, whilst playing the aforementioned twin stick shump.

Well I didn't get one :colbert:
But thanks for reminding me that I actually need to play it. Just after I'm done with my personal Star Wars FPS renaissance.

Nigga please. They make the best mouse on the market, the Deathadder. It's like the MSIE 3.0 mouse fitted with a V8 engine and Formula 1 steering + gear changing.

Razer, like all hardware with the "gaming" prefix, is an overpriced POS packed full with features you don't need.
