Razer, like all hardware with the "gaming" prefix, is an overpriced POS packed full with features you don't need.
Ignorant blanket statement much? I have a Fatality headset that has great sound quality for its price. I've had it for years and it shows no signs of even wearing out either.

Eva, You didn't gift me EYE did you? I don't think you're on my steam list.
I DID get a free copy, but I thought it was from that "lump of coal" thing steam was doing.
Also. Cyborg RAT 7. Best mouse ever. Never tried a Razor, but the RAT is definitely not just superfluous features.

Relax, you weren't one of the individuals.
Frankly Koki is derping once again, considering the blanket generalisation and the fact that only morons write off products/games/whatever without having actually used them personally.
I've had my 1800dpi Deathadder since 2008 and it's been flawless. Being able to move the cursor from one side of the screen to the other with just a ~1 inch wrist flick is glorious. I find all of the mouse's features useful:- on the fly sensitivity changing (which I use for every game); mapping macros to any key; having multiple key map profile (the latter two are great for the the huge range of games which don't natively support Mouse buttons 4+5); etc.

I finally got started on the last unplayed game from last summer's Steam sale: Bad Company 2. Enjoying the singleplayer, might give the MP a try later on.
I also gave SkyDrift a whirl today. Fun. :)

In before someone tells you there's an option in Windows that lets you scale the sensitivity.
SubJeff on 5/1/2012 at 22:15
You seriously don't know the difference between that and the enhanced sensitivity you get from specialist mice? That's like coming to a spelling competition without being able to read.
get out
Koki on 6/1/2012 at 06:59
The practical difference is almost nonexistant, unless you're a graphic artist. But then you're not using a mouse to draw, do you.

I was enjoying Portal 2 but was only considering it sorta good until it up-ended my expectations and sent me back to the 50s. :D

It just keeps getting better. Portal 2 makes Portal 1 look like an overblown tech demo (oh wait, it is.)
