Oh?
All I'm going by is what I've read on these forums. And that would be that you couldn't walk in the PC version of Bioshock.

How many have you senselessly murdered? I've gotten 8 so far.
10. Every one has been fun so far apart from 9 I think. Or was it 8. 10 is great.

Trying to remember what I've played recently. Finished the campaign in Magicka solo, which was a good time. Does the game scale for co-op? It seemed a tad easy singleplayer. Finally got around to playing Portal 2, which was goddamn glorious.
Right now I'm playing Rage, which seems ok. Just got to Wellspring so we'll see how that goes. In the pipeline are replaying Witcher so I have a save for Witcher 2, and the new LotR game (War In The North) which is apparently Dark Alliance with more talky. Will probably try to fly through MW3 when it's released (since it should take all of 4 hours) and maybe try some LA Noire before the Skyrim bomb drops and destroys my life for the next 2 months.

So enamored by the Dice developed Medal of Honor. Goddamn this is what CoD should be taking notes from. It's mechanics are just so goddamn tight and it is compelling...just once more level.
By the way, I hate so much to admit it but Bioshock is actually a better game on 360 than on PC. I loved it (and the sequel even more) on PC but goddamn is it just made for a 50 inch tv, controller, and recliner.

You missed out a very key word in the post of mine which you quoted.

My God, it was so daft how Aja was hung up about the PC version having no f*cking walk movement speed modifier key
pre-patch.

DICE only made the MP component. The SP was made by Danger Close (formerly EA LA, the studio responsible for the majority of MoHs since the PS1 days).

Christ, I'm sorry but this is one of most common and ignorant ass arguments fielded out by console jockeys against PC. No matter how many times they play this card, it will never be any less retarded. PC supports a wide range of control inputs, display outputs, etc. End of story. You're not chained to a monitor, KB+M, desk for game playing by any means.
We were discussing appropriate set-ups for PC gaming in the lounge just the other week on GPF.

So yeah, Rage. Aside from the technical issues (which are mostly resolved now), this is better than I expected. The driving physics are hilariously bad, but whatever. The atmosphere/character design/world design are all great, the writing is less annoying than I anticipated (although the 'having to wait for the greeting' thing gets old fast) and Bethesda needs to steal whatever method Id used for the character animations because they're amazing. The animation is great, although not entirely natural for some reason. The characters seem to exaggerate their gestures a bit like they mo-capped theater actors or something. It's not bad and it actually makes the characters feel more lively than other games (at least as far as shooters go), which is pretty neat.
re: Medal Of Honor, I think I liked the campaign for the same reasons I liked Allied Assault and the first 2 CoD's. It's fun playing a dramatized version of a conflict that actually happened, even if it's a tightly-scripted barely-interactive cinematic shooter. The ranger ambush scene in MoH is one of my favorite 'never ending swarm of enemies' scenes in a game, ever.

Oh definitely. Skyrim in this department looks just as terrible as ever when it comes to NPCs.

Yeah. I am not stupid. I have set up a PC like that just last month at my daughter's house. I have neither the space nor the money to set all of that up. I am not moving my pc to the living room tv on the off-chance that 1/20th of my PC games might benefit from the typical console setup. Besides, Bioshock is a console game. Period. The whole game just reeks of it, and it is actually a bit better when you just play it on its platform. Don't think for a MINUTE I would play Left 4 Dead, STALKER, Gothic, etc... on a console.
Relax, we all have the same hobby. Playing video games, it isn't something to get all fired up about when someone does it differently and shares his opinion about it. Believe me, if I could afford it I would have the awesomest PC setup ever and would only play console exclusives on the 360.

All done with Shadow of the Colossus. Wander was starting to look like hammered shit towards the end...
Next up is Red Dead Redemption. Looking forward!
