All done with Shadow of the Colossus. Wander was starting to look like hammered shit towards the end...
Next up is Red Dead Redemption. Looking forward!
I'm really curious whether/how
The Last Guardian will tie into the overall
ICO/
Shadow of the Colossus mythos. I liked the subtle tie-in at the end of
SotC a lot.
Hope you enjoy
Red Dead Redemption! Are you playing on Xbox360 or on PS3? (Can't remember what you've been saying in terms of what console(s) you have.)

I'm actually enjoying inFamous far more than Uncharted, in spite of my initial impressions. Prototype was going to be next on my list (I got Uncharted, inFamous, Prototype, and Ass Creed when I bought my second hand PS3) but I may just go for the Ico pack instead!
After finishing up Rage (no quantity of warning could have prepared me for the disappointment of that final mission) I jumped on Sanctum (inspired by the free weekend) and promptly bought the whole thing. I did play it back when it was a Make Something Unreal Contest entry, but to my surprise (I shouldn't have been surprised) the game's gotten much better since then.

I have both- recently replaced my aging 360 with one of the new ones- but my copy of RDR GOTY is for PS3.

I loved both Uncharted games but was sort of glad they were relatively short - their setpiece-heavy design would be difficult to maintain my interest for more than 6-8 hours. I wouldn't want to watch a 4.5h Indiana Jones movie either.
inFamous was more enjoyable for longer, but at least the first one suffered from some of the same weaknesses as the first Assassin's Creed IMO. The mission design is pretty repetitive, all in all. Still, definitely a cool game world to be faffing about in.

inFamous actually reminds me a bit of Red Faction Guerrilla. Same basic structure. The main difference is that you can't level buildings. :sly: Oh yes, I've been looking for an appropo moment to use that emote.

15 hours into Rage, just got to the second hub. Presumably not much left, I dunno. I think I did everything in the first hub besides cleaning out the sewers as I kept forgetting to look for them (I only did the one near the beginning). The attention to detail, animations, voice acting, etc are still impressing the hell out of me. The shooting is phenomenal, although while it's varied it does tend to fall a little too far on the side of 'sneak around, thin the herd silently, take out the rest from behind cover' when fighting humans. The bandit/authority AI reminds me a bit of FEAR. They talk to each other, use grenades to flush you out (and oftentimes throw them where they think you are if you're sneaking around), try to do some bounding overwatch (although it's fairly ineffective since usually one guy will advance on you while the rest just hide instead of covering him), and ragdoll like a boss. The guns feel solid; I actually find myself lowering the volume on my speakers slightly from where I normally keep it for games/music because the shooting has some serious pop. The one negative thing for me with the combat is how quickly some bodies disappear. It's not very consistent, but there have been a few areas where the human bodies are gone before I can loot them. Otherwise, still having a surprising amount of fun, and I'm finding the game has a pretty nice balance of hub gameplay and linear mission areas. The first visit to dead city was unbelievable, love the detail in the skyscrapers and the crumbling infrastructure.

Playing games with your kids is awesome :D

I try not to play GTA4 around the kids for obvious reasons. :)
