NICE, I had one of the Jackson V's. Fucking amazing action (fast as shit), and a nice tone. Surprisingly well balanced, too. I noticed on stage that is didn't feel heavy or lop-sided and therefore I had better endurance.
Buddy of mine is a multiplayer FREAK, he never plays shooter SP campaigns. Battlefield 3 comes on 2 discs (one mp suite, one sp campaign) and he gave me the SP one. Yeah, I am missing out on MP, but Hell...free game until I can afford a copy myself.

Very satisfying ending for inFamous, and one of the few anti-climaxes that actually worked. Plus, an epilogue! Why don't more writers do epilogues? I'd rush out and get inFamous 2, but I have Alice 2 to finish and then Ico/Shadow on order. :D

I haven't played in 10 years.

I started Operation Flashpoint: Dragon rising. And took about eight attempts to finish the first mission. On normal. Good Lord I am bad at these games!
quick question: what sort of range is it useful to open fire on guys? (assuming standard rifle) I was missing a lot at 200m and am unsure if I should close on them or just learn to aim.

@ Aja: New Vegas took a minute to click with me as well. Once it did, it was awesome but at first it was just meh. Stick with it, bro.
Just wanted to chime back in and say: it's definitely getting better. Even a bit ridiculous at times (which I like) but with slightly less lame writing, meaning slightly less embarrassment for the developers! :thumb:

Neither, IMO. I only played the first level, but generally found it beneficial to keep distance from the enemy, as they kill you quite fast. I did pop a lot of shots at them from 150-200m. Harder than it should be because sights in this game are zeroed to 0m, which is retarded, but you have to live with it. You'll get the hang of bullet drop / long range shooting eventually.

Still playing Rage (in Subway Town) but I thought I'd share this bit of batshit hilarity:
So, the PC port of L.A. Noire. Installed the game to C:\Games\LA Noire. Launcher loads, lets me set options, but the 'launch' button does nothing. Manually trying to run the game exe does nothing - literally just a blip of LANoire.exe in task manager which immediately disappears.
Ok, weird. I uninstall/resinstall. Default folder C:\Program Files\L.A. Noire. Same shit. What the fuck.
Third try. C:\Games\LANoire. Boom, game works.
Seriously what the fuck, Rockstar.

That's just embarassing
