I'd class CoD 4 as being right up there with Half-Life 2 and Final Fantasy VII on the most over-rated games list. It's not even the best CoD, or CoD-esque FPS by a good mile.

I am on a lab placement in the middle of Bedfordshire and only have my university laptop for company, so I am playing Plants vs. Zombies. Great game - very addictive.

It's gonna be a long afternoon at work. Just learned that Skyrim has arrived at home! :wot:
Also, been playing Limbo, which is good, atmospheric and challenging, but very short and occasionally frustrating.

It admittedly doesn't seem to have a huge amount of staying power, but then again I bought it very cheaply while expecting something useful for the odd 15-minute bashing session, so I reckon it'll serve its purpose.

One effect of playing Modern Warfare 2 and listening to Kevin McKidd as "Soap" McTavish: I wish I was playing Call of Duty: Ancient Rome, starring Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo. I can pretty much visualise the arena sequence already!

Finally got my 5770, reformatted/reinstalled windows, did some tweaking, fired up Skyrim. Mmmm.
Also, people who can't tell the difference in image quality between Nvidia and AMD cards are high as shit. I remember when I went from an x1950 to an 8800GT and couldn't believe how terrible it rendered edges, and once again, yep, 0 FSAA on this card looks better than maxed FSAA did on my 8800, same game options/resolution.

Huh? They render almost exactly the same way when it comes to AA, the graphical difference is negligible and certainly not noticeable.
