Im loving these hi-res textures, it made a huge improvment to the rescent Sir Williams Keep, which used a lot of old textures :D

I agree. Only thing is with DDfix you can't take screenshots. At least it didn't work for me. They all turned out pink...

Can't you. Then presumably the screenshots in the opening post can't actually exist? :p
ddfix does break the normal screenshots, but you can just hit printscreen to take them instead. (Saves them to thief's directory with a name like 'screenshot1.bmp')

I took the screenshots with the freeware xnview, a graphics viewer. Also fraps would do the job, didn't know about printscreen!

Excuse me if it's already been answered, but would the DDfix work for Thief1 too/would it take alot of work to make it work with Thief 1? I'd love to see/make higher res textures for Thief 1.

1. ddfix works for T1 (both normal DP and Gold) - no special steps are required to make it work with T1
2. hi-res texture support is T2 exclusive feature of ddfix, at least for now (I've no idea whether/when Timeslip has plans to extend this support on other Dark Engine games - although I hope he does as hi-res textures for TDP/TG or SS2 would be great to have :). As for now, T2 HR-tex support itself is not completely bug-free :(.)

I installed version 1.3 now and I must say, it is... amazing... wow... :wot: :thumb: The missions looks so beautiful! Please keep the work :thumb:
