Hello.
My simple question is:
When i using New Dark Patch for T2 which file i should unpack? ntexdds13.exe or NTEX.zip?
An also i want to ask is that version from first post including all OMs textures replacing?
Thx for help.

In NewDark you can scale just by creating a .mtl file for the texture. I've dropped some 1024x0124 replacement textures into my current mission to replace 64x64 or 128x128 textures and using the .mtl file it keeps the quality but scales it down to the right size.
Could you show me an example of one of your .mtl files please? The documentation mentions that you can use
terrain_scale or
tile_factor for replacement hi-res textures, but I can't get win323 to look any different. I have Bob's texture pack that gives better quality of stock Thief 2 families. His texture is making my object (a secret door with win323 applied) appear tiled twice.
I tried setting those options with no effect, although to be completely honest I don't quite understand how I'd use them. I know win323 needs t obe 32 by 64, so I had set that for terrain_scale. As for tile_factor, I've no idea what that should be set to. Perhaps I misunderstood the doc, but I thought it said you could change how a texture is being tiled on an object and not just terrain itself.

You just create a text file named the same as the material, and rename it to .mtl instead of .txt. All I've done is the terrain_scale command in there, for yours you would want it to look like
terrain_scale 32 64
and that's it, nothing else in the file. It should go in the family folder along with your texture. There are examples of these in both Drymian Codex and Cell 6 if you need to look at them, although in my case I think all of them are square and so you would only see one number, e.g. terrain_scale 128.

Yes I know, I said in my last post I tried terrain_scale 32 64 for my mtl file. That didn't work, that's why I wanted to see if what you were doing was any different. I had it right next to win323.png. Bob's is 256x256 if that helps. I'll take a look at Drymian Codex I guess, thanks.
I have a hunch on why nothing appeared to happen in dromed. Bob's textures go into RES\ddfix\btex instead of where normal textures go in Fam. Maybe dromed is having trouble reading the mtl from that folder.

What about NTEX and Thief Enhancement Pack 2.0 (alpha)?

you are probably better off using just EP2.

I think most of the EP2 textures at this point are higher quality / more match the originals.
You could use both and prioritize EP2 in newdark's mod_path variable in cam_mod.ini if this pack fills in any gaps EP2 doesn't, but I'm not sure it does.
