In seriousness it was, for a slow pan of the audience (not in the pic), with the guy's pants in foreground establishing the space. Notice the little clamp light specifically attached to the camera; we called it the "butt light" :p

I'm going to guess 'employment' is probably stretching it in this case.
Cool though. So it's kind of a sketch troupe web series kind of thing huh? It's a good thing to do on the cheap for sure.
Incidentally, what's the plan if you don't get the money?
I always wonder about that, 'cause usually there's a determination to go ahead initially (obviously). It's hard to see it being denied, particularly if its low budget.
