But... that would look horrible if i did it like that. Player is going to have good view of robot being assembled by the machine so i need the exact parts for it.

giga,
I was able to rebuild the file from the original .E. So I have the full combat robot .3DS file.
This weekend I can pull the parts off for you. I hope this isn't a rush, it'll take me a few days to make the time to do this.
Where can I send them?

Hey Giga!
I finally got to taking the combat bot apart. Arms and legs are easy. But, the boiler and head are one piece.
Where should I separate them? Should I make the head have part of the neck, and leave most of it on the boiler? Or remove the entire head and neck?
Also, the green 'eye' and the glowing boiler window are part of the same object. I can split them up easily enough, but do you want the head with or without the eye? And should I leave an opening for the boiler window, or include the red window part?

Hello!
It doesn't matter that much where you split the head and boiler, somewhere close to where the original robot corpse parts had it will do just fine. What matters more is to have the hole on head and boiler covered up after taking them apart.
About the eye and head, now that i come to think of it, it would be cool to have two heads, one with the eye and one without.
And the boiler window, it can stay how it is, but i'd prefer it having the shut off furnace texture rather than glowing red. I have idea how i can work around it if changing the texture is too much trouble.
Thank you! :)
