So I got to thinking... I've always wondered, you people that have naked men/women/whatever for you wallpaper, do you ever try to strategically line up your icons with various bits of someone's anatomy? Seeing as this is TTLG and we have our own porn starlets like Queue here, I figured I'd get a straight (ahem) answer.
Also, once that's out of the way, I thought I'd ask what's the latest trend in desktop wallpaper behind the ever-critical artsy fartsy crowd. I'm always behind the fucking times, so have a generic minimalist 4:3 planetscape.

EDIT: Right, and I forgot the primary purpose of this thread until just now, after reading SubjEff's post: post your sources! I've been getting my planets and exploding stars and evocative black and white photography from (
artofgregmartin.com) artofgregmartin.com for years now.

I have some default scenery that rotates desktop thing, with far too many icons.
I think the cool kids are heavily modifying their desktops this season with things like Rainlender (or whatever) but that's only because I read LifeHacker.
I get bored of a single pic and tbh I'm sure there are lots of great desktop backgrounds about but I've not the time to go hunting.

I like having few icons and stuffing most everything into one folder.
I do like how the icons line up above the row of houses in this.

What's there to interpret? It says 'GRANVILLE - Boat arrival from Jersey'

Yeah, I caught that, thanks. ;)
I meant interpret my personality by the kind of picture I put up.
Isn't that what these things are always for?
Funny I didn't see how it would sound when I said that.
