I just started having and odd thief2 problem. I've been playing Sliptips new FM (which looks fantastic btw), and I started it up to play this evening and when I load a game everything seems ok but I cant move at all, and no buttons work. I just see the screen and I hear things happening, guards walk around but Im totally frozen. I looked on the thief faq and didnt see this problem. I just did some windows updates but I cant imagine how that would cause this all the sudden. The mouse and keyboard work while in the main menu just fine, but after I load a game it doesnt work at all and I have to end task on thief2.
Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated, I'd hate to reinstall t2 as it can be a pain :/

If you try any other FM, do you get the same result? I doubt the next thing but, some FM's are designed to have things like this happen (T2X for example). I wish I knew more, but noone else has responded yet.

Try loading a new keyboard configuration in the options menu to see if that changes anything. Maybe try the Thief classic keyboard config, and then set the new options like zoom after you load it.

Worked like a charm! Much thanks! I figured it was a deeper problem because the mouse didnt work at all but that was perfect, should have thought about trying that though.
