Here's something else from the vault. This is something I was doing back in ... (checking the date on the file) ... 2005. It was meant to be a design for a t-shirt. I supposed I always felt I'd finish it one day, but I think I've accepted that that'll never happen. However if anyone else thinks it's neat, I'm including the layered PDF file anyway.

And the layered PSD document.

This blast from the past comes from 2003:

I was trying to develop an IRC-based roleplaying system, but didn't get very far before I either lost interest or got busy with other things. Of the five articles listed on the website (the second link) only three of them were written. Power and Politics of The City (4K words), Religion, Magic, and Technology (2.6K words), and a hybrid of the RP Rules and Character creations docs. The three of these are included in the zip. (This was all set in the CoSaS/CoT-verse of course, but being from 2003 it's pre-MX and pre-COT-rewrite.)

Here's a real oldie, from 2001:

These are concepts for a cosas character who was going to be featured in a mission that eventually became part of The Nine Year Sleep. As there's currently no plans to use this character in any way, I figured I might as well share the concept sketches and incomplete artwork the artist (whose name I can't remember, and his signature doesn't ring any bells) did before vanishing without a trace. He was supposed to be a pagan priest in a far-off land where the followers of The Trickster were in power and the Hammerites had been subjugated. (A concept we completely abandoned a few years later.)

Getting even older now... these files are from 2000.
They're some photos I took of an old steam locomotive that had been put on display in my home town. The zip has seven photos, though given the age, they're not exactly of high quality or resolution. I had always intended to create a model of this thing for an FM (or get someone else to do it) but it just never came about.

The Maximus art reminded me of this one. It's also from 2001, back from the backward-world concept where the Hammer and Pagan roles were switched. These are concept sketches I did for a Hammerite priestess. Yes, a rare example of me actually drawing something myself. (I used a stock image for the pose.) I am not sure what I was thinking with the hair and headband on that first one.

Headband? I thought it was a blindfold.
