That's true. Functionally, it follows the same layout type as pretty much any cave or dungeon in the game and is therefore a pile of suck, as forests go. Graphically, it's beyond a pile of suck.

I for one didn't find it bad looking but then again I don't nitpick like some people here.

I usually don't nitpick graphics but in an multi-billion dollar franchise game that gets advertised as the 2nd coming of BaldursGate on all fronts I was somehow shocked that all the bad lighted, blurry footage from the gametrailers was not due to it being on XBOX or ugly flash but the game itself. I have no problems with low-res graphics, I played so may games on low settings but coupled with the bland, generic design it just constantly calls attention to its mediocrity. Combat and voiceovers make that up though.

Yeah it really is, have yet to try the multiplayer but the single player is so incredibly good. Not nearly as hyped up as it ought to be as it should be a system seller.
