I think, in this case, it's probably just Chinese, or quasi-Chinese, but then, there are Keeper glyph banners in common houses throughout The City.

I did a search about prima guides and found this thread. Anyway, I don't think anyone (forgive me if I somehow missed it) touched on the Prima Guides, Thief Gold or Thief II TMA.

I know this isn't about guides, but seeing as it's related to something someone posted earlier in the thread, I thought I might ask if anyone knows what the heck this is!?!?:wot::o I thought it might be the dark mod, but it could be any game I suppose. Anyone have any ideas of what it might be?

It's a kind of Thief 1/2 mod for TDS in the making. Just look into the WIP thread (last couple of pages) in the T3Ed Guild. About the Prima guides... well, new artwork, anyone?

I had used the TMA Prima Guide back when I didn't have the game, nor the time to play my friend's copy. It wasn't completely accurate, and it mostly applied to the earliest version, back when the Golden Cherub could be destroyed. I don't remember any artwork that isn't already up at TheCircle. The images that stood out to me were the concept art.

So, Jason, recommendation? You didn't exactly say. Sounds like it's a "decent" guide though, but nothing special.
