I think, in this case, it's probably just Chinese, or quasi-Chinese, but then, there are Keeper glyph banners in common houses throughout The City.

It's a kind of Thief 1/2 mod for TDS in the making. Just look into the WIP thread (last couple of pages) in the T3Ed Guild. About the Prima guides... well, new artwork, anyone?

I had used the TMA Prima Guide back when I didn't have the game, nor the time to play my friend's copy. It wasn't completely accurate, and it mostly applied to the earliest version, back when the Golden Cherub could be destroyed. I don't remember any artwork that isn't already up at TheCircle. The images that stood out to me were the concept art.

So, Jason, recommendation? You didn't exactly say. Sounds like it's a "decent" guide though, but nothing special.
