I don't think there are enough people interested to make BitTorrent a viable solution. Hopefully we can find a reliable server for this at some point, but I'm glad to be downloading it from one of the university links above.
It'll be fun to see how many of these will be appropriate for Morrowind...especially with the dark texture mod I installed.
Not too sure about that. At least in lieu of any permanent web location, BT has its upsides: its simply uploaded off someone's personal computer and tracked via a site like mininova. If seeds disappear and someone wants it, they make a request and it's easily reseeded. I don't know the situation with the web hosters, but some might not be able to host it for too long because of allotted bandwidth. Maybe I'm just defending BT on principle because I use the distribution method all the time and love it ;) It is quite true Jason might be willing to host it -- of course, he's tried to (sagely) stay away from potential copyright infringement in the past, and I don't know his position on this OST, so *shrug*. I already seeded 27 copies of this :laff:.
And I've actually not heard the ripped version (perhaps from being away for so long). I'm curious now as to the differences.

I've been downloading it from yousendit, but the conncection was very slow, so I may not have time to upload it tonight.
I will do that tomorrow afternoon because I'll have more time.

Yes! Thank you Mr. Alberta, whoever you are, for the download.
The idea of listening to the T3 music in T2 or T2x appeals to me.

I have now included the soundtrack on Komag DVD TDS and I'll probably keep it there forever :)

Oh, I use BT all the time. It's just not as a fast as a straight-up download from a reliable server when you only have one or two people seeding and a couple more downloading. Then again, it might just be my network as I never tend to get very fast BT download speeds. I tried using your torrent (because I believe in BT), but I was getting speeds of about 585
bytes per second, way slower than even a 56k. That said, bit torrent is still way better than any other distribution method out there...kazaa, anyone? Hehe.

Me? It's the University of Alberta, they give me about a gigabyte of webspace since I go to school there.
And you're welcome (unless you got it from jackablade's server, in which case you're not welcome).

Thanks to the guy who posted it in the first place, and to all others for redistributing it. I believe this OST won a prize for best sound game in 2004 or 2005, for that my thanks to you all:thumb: :thumb:
