I actually captured these myself from the movie "Noelle". "Chatham", his second movie, is not yet out on DVD, and "The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" is due next year.
Attempting to Google Image search him is risking an hour's worth of frustration through others who have the same name. It's like looking for "John Smith", or the California phone directory for "Jose Rodriguez".
I recently saw that movie, was just watching on and off but during one scene a voice caught my full attention, his character didn't say much but it was clear that I had heard that voice before! So I checked the movie out on IMDB and saw Stephen's name . His real voice, or the one in the movie sounds almost exactly as Garrett, how cool would it be to have that voice as your normal one.:cheeky:

...because they were, like many before and after them, looking at the wrong Stephen. There are 2 other actors with the name, and countless others involved in media, theater and movie production with the same exact name. The one they were looking at looks like he could successfully pull off Garrett in a Thief movie. Here's a pic of him:

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g187/silentcheesedude/Video%20Games/WrongStephenRussell.jpgThat's the wrong Stephen Russell, (playing Pontius Pilate in The Gospel of John), and that's just ONE of the ones that some were going gaga over. Our Stephen Russell needs no good looks, or hair for that matter, to get his point across.
Yes, but... incredibly, the original Stephen Russel could play the Garrett role in a movie. Just take a look of his picture below: the similarity is much!
Is the original Steve american or english?

Hmm? I just took his face from one of the photos and painted the thief in.

Redface, I think I speak for all of us when I say it's a very fitting image, his face does have that special thief look :)
I'm not much for meeting or greeting celebrities, but I would definitely considering meeting up with any of the original people involved in the thief games to be one of my life's most cool moments. (and yes, that obviously includes mr Russel)
The work they've done on the thief games is astounding, and I don't think anyone is ever going to top that, and that's incredibly sad because for the last ten years or so, I've been looking for any game that's equally interesting.. and haven't really found anything that can match thief.
But.. back on topic: Stephen really doesn't look at all like I imagined, and that's just plain coolness , thanks to all the people posting the images of him, you rock!

That's a beautiful, ambiguous effect anyway! It seems really painted on the canvas, you have the artist touch :laff:
