Treyarch seems to be getting better with each game that they make, i.e. WaW was a huge step up from CoD3. Meanwhile with Infinity Ward it's the opposite, CoD4:MW1 was far better than MW2. I expect that the next IW game will be even worse, since most of the key personnel have left/are on the cusp of leaving.
One of the biggest complaints about Treyarch CoD's I had is that they relied too heavily on respawning enemies, even the fairly decent WaW. One of the only things that MW2 did in terms of pushing the franchise forward was eliminating respawning foes. So if Treyarch has followed IW's lead like they've done in the past, that's automatically the biggest design flaw of Treyarch's SP components gone.
Also it's been rumoured (
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=240727) that dedicated servers and zombie mode are back. If we get full administration privileges back then that largely eliminates the hosting and cheating issues that plague MW2. No more sitting forever in matchmaking lobbies, the immediate option of kicking and banning cheaters from servers, etc. Admins being able to set rules again would be great too, eg I'd love to wave bye to tubers.

They did a great job with WaW, liked it better then MW. I like the more gritty 'war is hell' aproach, some are put of by the gore but imho it makes the shooting more satisfying. Was kinda hoping they would do Vietnam, me happy.

Yeah, WaW very bluntly commented on the horrors and indifference of war. Reznov's blood thirst over-took his humanity.
In that one mission where Reznov demands that Pvt. Vasilli (the voiceless vessel for the player) execute the Germans whom had surrendered, did the player have a choice? I can't remember.
I agree, in that respect WaW was superior to either MW. Those were just Bruckheimer action movie equivalents.

Reznov will burn them with a molotov cocktail if you don't execute them (couldn't do it)
edit, would be interesting if they have the guts to do the My Lai massacre, we have come to expect some controversy. A naive volunteer losing his faith in humanity would be great campaign material.

this sounds at least more interesting than cod:vietnam
- slow motion:
in the whole trailer is only one vietcong dude - guess what: the only guy with a straw hat and a russian gun, the rest looks like central america, some dudes in the snow and most interesting: a scene where you carry a steyr gun, certainly younger than the vietnam war. so I guess: 4 acts across 4 different theatres of "cold war". They could show many atrocities depicted by US and the russians alike.

What conflict is it supposed to be only Austrian army uses these incredibly.cool Steyrs as far as I know.

no, the steyr has been sold to international "special police forces" as well afaik. and oc they ended up on the black market. but I don't know any specifics.
wikipedia says:

The rifle has also been adopted by the armed forces of Argentina, Australia (accepted into service in 1985 and manufactured by Australian Defence Industries in Lithgow, this Austeyr model is also in use by New Zealand), Bolivia, Ecuador (since 1988), Republic of Ireland, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia (introduced in 1978), Pakistan, and (since 1988) U.S. Customs (now the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency).
gun designed in the early 70s.

Yeah bullpup rifles are a special joy for me.
Also, zombie mode?
If this means Vietnam Zombies I AM SO THERE, still disappointed about Shellshock 2 and Heart of Evil Napalm Edition.
