I'll look into getting a copy of this up on the Circle and getting the file hosted as well. Should have it up within the next day or two.
As for the FAQ section...that is for another day.

Would just like to point out that you only need to do the:
imagecfg -a 0x1 C:\games\thief2\thief2.exe
you don't need the "imagecfg -u" or to do it for the "thief2.icd" file.
from a thread I wrote back in 2002: (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55598)
I agree, you probably don't need to do "imagecfg -u" for executables but you definately need to apply "imagecfg -a 0x1" to thief2.icd or any .icd file because that file is copy protected executable file which gets decrypted and executed on fly. And if you are using copy protected game executable, you need to apply "imagecfg -a 0x1" to clokspl.exe, too. Because sometimes windows gets confused and assigns your thief executable to CPU1 instead of CPU0 and thus causes game to crash. This applies on hyperthread and possibly on dual core cpu's.

Well, its a great application, and works well with Vista. I appreciate all the hard work that so many of you guys have put into getting thief to run, and stay running. :) I still have XP, I just wanted it running on the newer comp.
I still get the flickers of the polys on the guards, but, its minor really, and not that bad. After searching with another taffer last night, we found some things that can help my sky box issue, which is resolved. With my new monitor, Thief truly looks awesome. I still can't believe I got it running under Vista.

You mean, IT'S BACK!

Still, BH did a good thing, so thanks for that, too!

Oh. I missed the time it was down.
Hey I must ask, what does \o/ mean?
I think I figured it out ,but I wanted to make sure... At first I thought it meant "lol" with curved l letters... but now that I look at it, its a stick figures' head, followed by his arms on either side thrown up in the air. Is that it?

You got it! A person celebrating.
