Seriously if I had a pig, I couldn't kill it just to eat it, it's a pet not food.
Besides I don't eat pig, its very unhealthy, now white meat uhm uhm, chicken is the thang.

But surely you liposuction your pig for bacon right?
And all this mommy missing baby in microwave stuff could be resolved by putting mommy in instead.
Enjoyable science learny stuff happening itt.

The more stimuli are offered to my senses of smell and taste, the more these senses develop and the more likely they are to be passed onto the future generations through education and genetic mutations.
Therefore, because of meat tasting so awesome, eating it is for the greater good of humanity.

I believe completely in treating animals with respect and all that, but I've never understood what purpose it serves to begin the process of evolving back into
Australopithecines. Our brains grew to the size they are now because we switched to eating meat. Some vegetarians even try and claim it's better and healthier to be a vegetarian.
Homo habilis might've had stronger bones than me, but I'll take my 1100cc sized brain over his 600cc brain any day of the week. That PETA is just pushing us down that road is mindblowing to me.
What is mindblowing to me is your complete failure to understand how evolution works.
I could post some scientific studies demonstrating that vegetarianism is healthier, but I gotta go sharpen my flint tools first.

And I could, just to be contrary (and your posts have been pissing me off slightly today), find studies that say eating meat is healthier, but I'd rather just go buy a 3DS.

Why would you want to do that? Paper Mario and Zelda aren't out yet, are they?

I don't believe it is amoral to eat meat, hunt, or raise animals for food. I do accept a moral argument against factory farming because it consumes resources at an unsustainable rate. However, that argument applies for all forms of large scale industrial agriculture, not just animal farming.

Zelda's out, and that's all I care about right now ;) Also picked up Advance Wars: Days of Ruin for $10 so there's that too.

But that's not just it. I mean, yes, the environmental issue is a huge one; but there's a big humanitarian element. It's not just "killing animals is killing animals" - there are ways to do it relatively humanely, ditto with housing them. The conditions in most factory farms are hard to believe - frankly, if I linked videos or quoted some stuff, I'd look like a PETA shock-value extremist, but a lot of it
really is that bad, particularly with pigs and poultry.

The honest and boring truth is that you can happily eat a balanced diet with or without meat in it.
Really, it's the idea that not eating meat will turn you into a genetic throwback that I found particularly offensive and dumb.

I would strongly advise against that, I once (
