GWAR is one of those timeless ridiculous bands you can't help but be amused with. They're not serious at all and that was their strength -- though they weren't bad musicians either. No telling what's going to happen to the band after this.

Shame, really.

Aww, so young. There hasn't been costuming or an act that ridiculously over-the-top I can think of since Peter Gabriel in the early Genesis days, but unlike that it was never serious or pretentious &, yeah, it was all in good fun.

This is a sad thing.

I can remember going to see them, and then going to work at my graveyard shift job a few blocks away completely soaked with fake blood and urine. At least I think it was fake...

I need to go listen to "Sick of You" a few dozen times now.
