OK, I'll change that:
Even though the most of PS2 games are clearly oriented to children and teens. Most of PC games also may be oriented to teens, but the percentage is certainly bigger in the case of PS2 games.
It doesn't mean those games aren't fun or that adults can't play them.
Smile SE, you seem to be pretty out of temper.
Way to ignore several mails with
actual arguments. Frankly, I don't see any use in discussing this further with you, 242, because either you're not interested in a discussion or you have the reading skills of a mole.

I'm not out of temper comrade, I just see no reason to pussyfoot around an idiotic point of view. Its stupid and ill informed and that's that.
Even your revision lacks substance.
Have you seen the stats for game player's ages? PS2 came out in 1999 and even in 2002 the average age of gamers was 24-35. Its currently about 33. Besides all that I want to hear which games you played that were "kiddie" games, with your reasons for them being "kiddie".
You won't be able to do it because you're full of it.

Loved GoW I and II, that's all I have to say. Carry on with the bickering.

Console kiddie comming to pc-elitist defence, you won't find any games Like Europa Univeralis or Hearts of Iron on the console. This is a whole genre that is non-existant on any platform but, and if that just happens to be your thing I can understand how other games can come across as kiddie.

The Romancing of Three Kingdoms games are built simultaneously for console and PC.

There is probably one somewhere. I like this type of strategy-games and no console has anything that I could/would compare to the games I mentioned.
SubJeff on 5/9/2009 at 12:57
That's more to do with the control method though, no?

I don't think there would be really a big market for the deeper pc-strategy games with the console crowd, why would a
grid system menu for example suck on a console, probably much more comfortable for your wrists using a controler instead of mouse. PC games in general are more geared towards the more serious gamers that isn't something 242 just decided some genres don't make it on the consoles.
Thirith on 6/9/2009 at 16:10
Most of those games are pretty much for a niche audience on PCs as well. It's not as if a sizeable percentage of PC output is turn-based strategy or whatever else we attribute to "serious gamers".

So the Ultimate Edition is coming which is GoW 1, 2 and 3 and a bunch of DLC stuff - skins, challenges and an arena - and a soundtrack and DVD.
For £109.

If you buy this you are officially an idiot. Unless you have more money than you know what to do with, in which case play on.
