I've gone back and forth several times, but after very little debate, I just wanted to let you guys know I've come to a decision.
I've decided to stay.

Beef tacos for everyone!
Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, minced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup canned tomato sauce ( I use Hunt's)
1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon light brown sugar
8 taco shells
Directions
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat until simmering.
Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the garlic, spices, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Stir in the ground beef.
Cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce, broth, vinegar, and sugar.

Good, good. Staying is cool. And I'd like to get a taste of a beef taco.

I dream of some remotely familiar food, but alas, this is not a city for pizza, burgers, and tacos.
I could get sushi.
But I do not trust the sushi.

Since Brethren decided to be helpful, I'm going to go ahead and offer a suggestion. This one isn't a recipe but will work just fine.
The ultimate breakfast scramble!
Heat your skillet on high with 2 Tablespoons coconut oil.
Season with a pinch of thyme and Oregano. Add 1/4 tsp cumin per egg you plan to use and garlic to taste.
Once the oil is hot, add 1.5 oz breakfast maple sausage per egg. High quality, organic or natural-raised makes a big difference.
After the meat is browned, add your eggs and scramble.
Immediately after adding eggs mix in the two secret ingredients. The first one is a small amount of hot sauce. While I prepare this using a bottle of hot sauce labeled "extreme heat two pepper torch hot sauce" that I don't seem to be able to find online, any thick and "flavorful"(ie, don't use tobasco or red dot) hot sauce should work.
The second is to add a dash of soy sauce. Strange suggestion I know but trust me on this one. The result is pretty damn good.
Scramble all ingredients until evenly distributed, then cook until eggs are solid. Add your choice of cheese.
I don't mention vegetables because I've tried this with several combinations and it always came out at least well. If you need a suggestion my personal favorite is to add button mushrooms, red bell pepper, and onion.
