One thing I never understood about glyphs...Did the keepers discover them or create them? Also, anyone ever think that maybe the Final Glyph erased current glyphs? Maybe you can still use glyphs, just gotta redraw them or something.

Yeah, 'cause Gamall
trying to do just after Garret closed things down doesn't seem to indicate that at all.

A better question is if the final glyph stops all glyph magic in the world or just in the City. That being said, there is no indication that the Keepers exist outside of the City.

That seems to indicate the Keepers created the glyphs then, as they designed a final glyph to end them in case of emergencies. If they were a natural phenomenon or something created by the Gods, surely there would have been no final glyph. I doubt the Keepers able to construct something that will destroy natural or godly created magic either.
And, if so, imagine the power those first Keepers, or whatever forebears they had, who were able to create magic of such magnitude.
...
Actually, thinking of it like that, it sounds so inplausible that the Keepers would be able to create such magic and still be so powerless without it that I suspect a flawed plot element here. Would be suitable for TDS.

Gamall was one of the keepers in the group that started the order. It mentions that in something readable near the end of the game. But she WAS a keeper

I can't speak on what created the glyphs, an ancient race, natural causes, or the First Keepers. The only glyph I know for sure that was created by the FIrst Keepers was the Final Glyph. The Eye mentions this, and says there was a "Secret Pact" between the First Keepers and the Sentient Artifacts.
As for simply erasing the glyphs, I'm fairly sure the Final Glyph completely ended all magic, so there's no ability to create more by redrawing them. Remember how in the last scene, Gamall was attempting to draw a glyph in the air (the same kind she used to make a portal to escape in the Keeper Compound) but in does nothing, and simply floats away?

Not so. There's no indication that she was one of the First Keepers. Though we know that she was part of the Order so long ago that none of the current members know who she was, and it was also so long ago that she was able to edit the Keeper records regarding her and no one noticed. All we know is that she was on an expedition with Keepers Daegar, Somersault, and Nandolym long ago, and that was when they discovered the Glyph of Transmutation.

Forgot about that :)
