I'll never forget the day I made a ring of rocks erupt from the ground. And those rocks...they were on fire.

I like how adding 4*arcane to anything basically amplifies the AOE so you can engulf the entire screen with carnage. This is ridiculous.

Try the challenge maps. I've managed to get to wave 8 and rack up a bunch of achievements before dying. You really have to learn the magic system to get anywhere in the challenges, because you usually have 20-30 little guys right on your ass.
It's all about chain lighting-chain lighting-ice-ice-ice to slow down a bunch, then lightning-ice-arcane super slow down damage cannon when you get to the other side of the screen.
I also figured out shields cancel out other shields. So if you have a bunch of enemy casters planting barriers everywhere, charging your sword up with earth-shield and swinging will make a straight line shield that can go through and destroy all those barriers.
And surprisingly enough, I actually prefer playing this game with the 360 controller.

I haven't bought it just yet or even tried the demo for that matter, but I suspect I'll have a fantastic time with it.
Perfectly reasonable.

What's the verdict, gents? I might be interested in this one.

Current Verdict: The potential for greatness is there, but the game is currently a little on the buggy side of things. Single player isn't too bad, but MP, where the game really shines, can be a pain in the ass to get running, and keep running.
But if you do...oh, if you do...there's great fun waiting to be had by all. I don't think I've ever laughed as much during a game as I did playing this with Minion, his friend whatshisface, and Duck last night.
