Hey there, I'm relativly new to Morrowind (I know, how could I have ignored it for all these years! :cheeky: ) and I've heard the Curio from house Hlaalu asks peeps to take their clothes off or kiss him...so far (luckily) hes only called me pumpkin and said I have a supple waist. How many people has this guy come onto?

He's a creepy, creepy man. :D

I had to undress myself, too. Can't remember if I gave Curio a kiss... guess I must have repressed that. Since then he's been calling me pudding and whatnot :weird:

Uncle Crassius... urk.... I still have nightmares...
Ania on 10/7/2004 at 22:46
As I recall, I stripped off my clothes and that wasn't enough. I had to remove rings, amulets, everything I had equipped.
Or did I imagine that? It's been a while.

LOL..."Uncle" Crassius is an Equal Opportunities Employer, that's for sure. Meaning that if you join Hlaalu, sooner or later you'll be asked to strip, pucker up, or both, regardless of your race or gender.
It's true that you have to take off EVERYTHING when he asks to see you naked...if you leave on so much as a ring he's not satisfied. I also had to kiss him later on to get his support for Hlaalu Hortator, although I have heard other people say that they got away with giving him money instead.
He's probably the most controversial character in the game-some people over on the official forums got really genuinely angry and upset about his advances, and at one point the developers stepped in to defend the way they wrote his character. I think he's funny, although not as funny as the outraged horror he tends to invoke in young, semi-literate, homophobic male gamers :laff:

Yeah, there is a bug(well not really) that cloths add to you clothing modifier(for disposition) that rings, amulets and armour count towards the clothing modifier. And the only way to tell if you are naked is by the clothing modifier.
And I found him funny but very disturbing.

I though Uncle Crassius was by far the funniest character in the game. THe play that he wrote (The Lusty Argonian Maid) was just too funny!

Lol, thanxs for assuring me that I wasn't the only one he was coming onto (though I was flattered ;) )
And I wasn't asked to kiss him but a thief (supposedly a famed highway man) whos name I forget...asked me to kiss him (which I did because it can't hurt eh?) and then told me to meet him in his room at a pub! (which I shall NOT be doing) Lol, but Curio is v.funny

If you do meet him, he'll offer you training, not more snogs.
